Education: Bachelor of Arts in History Education from UNC Charlotte; Master’s in School Administration from Gardner Webb University; Doctor of Education from Gardner Webb University.
Career: I began teaching at East Gaston High school in 2005 where I taught US History and Current Events. In 2007, I moved to Kings Mountain High School where I have served as a Teacher, Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, and now Principal. For the last 3 years, I have served as the Principal at Kings Mountain Middle School. I am excited to return "home" to the school that I have spent the majority of my career in learning and growing as a professional educator.
I am married to my beautiful wife Erin Morehead and am the proud father of two children – Dax (11 years old) and Addy (10 years old).
It is my honor to continue serving the Kings Mountain Community as Principal at KMHS. #GDTBAM
Trey Robinson - Assistant Principal

Career: I taught 7th grade math at KMMS for 10 years. During this time I spent most of my career coaching KMMS Girls Softball and assisting with KMHS baseball. I also served as a tennis and football coach at KMMS. As an administrator I spent one year as an AP at East Rutherford Middle School and most recently served as an AP at Kings Mountain Intermediate School.
Personal: My wife Jenny and I have two children, Brooks & Quinn. I am honored to be able to serve KMHS and the Kings Mountain community. #GDTBAM
Tandra Ramsey- Assistant Principal

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Limestone College and a Master of Arts in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University.
Background: My teaching career began at Grover Elementary School where I taught all grades K-4th. After 14 years, I moved into an Assistant Principal role and was split between James Love Elementary and Graham Elementary. Since 2018 I have been the Assistant Principal at KMHS over discipline. I have two children that graduated from KMHS. I am proud to serve KMHS and the Kings Mountain community! #GDTBAM
Melissa Wilson- Assistant Principal

Education: Bachelor of Science in Education in Secondary English Education from Western Carolina University; Master of Arts in Education in Curriculum and Instruction and School Administration from UNC Wilmington
Career: I am a proud graduate of Kings Mountain High School, so it was an honor to begin my teaching career here in 2007 as an English teacher. A few years later, I had the opportunity to teach English at Cleveland Early College High School, where I really developed a love for curriculum. For six years after teaching at CECHS, I worked as a Secondary Curriculum Coordinator for Cleveland County Schools, serving schools all over the district. For the last two years, I have served as an assistant principal at Kings Mountain Middle School. While this will be my first year as an administrator at KMHS, it feels like I am returning home to my roots!
My husband is also a graduate of KMHS, and we have one son who will hopefully be a Mountaineer one day, too! I am thankful for the Kings Mountain community and am honored to serve our school and community.
